Aleea Slappy: Speaker | Creative Strategist | Change Agent
You owe it yourself to be Happy. You deserve a life filled with Creativity, Purpose and Joy!
Hi, My name is Aleea Slappy. I have an appetite for assisting Millennials and Women in using their Creative Genius to grow successful small businesses that impact the world. In 2010 I started making greeting cards as a hobby and creative outlet. Over the years, my hobby evolved into A Happy Slappy Greeting– a Creative Strategy and Handmade Design Firm.
My Christian faith is at the center of who I am. My passion exists at the intersection of Entrepreneurship, Creativity, and Social Change. I have worked for several companies as a business coach, program director and trainer but one of my greatest roles has been a volunteer mentor to high school and college students.
I earned my undergraduate degree in Journalism and Communications from Hampton University and my Master’s degree in Urban Studies from Eastern University where I focused on community and economic development.
Speaker: I have worked as a professional Speaker and Trainer for more than 10 years. I fuse elements of Storytelling into my work and enthusiastically speak to community and church groups, at national conferences, college campuses and company wide events and meetings.
Creative Strategist: I know what it’s like to be stuck in a rut. I’ve experienced the desire to turn a hobby into a business but didn’t know how, I’ve been a creative person who didn’t have an outlet to share my work and now I can help you move from that place to being the person you’ve always dreamed of, living out your vision that impacts the world. Join me for a Clarity Call so that you get help today!
Change Agent: From mentoring to fundraising I am committed to ensuring that we all use our creative gifts to impact our current generation and the one that will come after us. Every element of A Happy Slappy Greeting was designed to bring positive change to the world. I currently get to do this through my social enterprise Co World Changers!
